Avoiding my studies by blogging instead! Well, ya only live once!

Here I sit ... doing anything and everything possible to avoid my intensive studies; which of course are due - tomorrow! Yikes!!

So, I thought I'd rest from resting by updating my blog and adding some of my photography, and since I don't have a lot of friends, like Heather does... then I'll depend on her to spread the word about my being in the blogging community to all of her friends. Haha!! Heather, you're officially appointed as my Personal Manager. So, have 'your people' call 'my people (k-9's)' and we'll work something out - we'll be in business .. you know!?!?! Haha!! Love ya girlie! =)

I would love to hear some of your comments on any of the photos.. please keep checking back, I'll keep adding more, some from my portfolio are to come... as I'm sure you won't always want to read about me - studying, playing with my boyz or waiting to graduate!

This is my most famous "Night Shot" overlooking Bogota, Colombia

Ok, seriously, I told Heather I'd fly to Colombia just to go to lunch and come back the same day.... the food there is AMAZING!!

Oh, what a precious little guy... he looked at me like we'd known each other forever!!
I'll never forget him.

David and his sister, this little bugger was rolling down a steep mountain road, sitting on 1, count it ONE rollerblade. They may not have much but they sure don't lack in enjoyment and laughter.

Awe, need I say more?!
Kisses for everyone! Except - 'No hugs and no kisses for ....
Sarah!' (Sarah, you're my little princess friend - I'll never forget when you broke out your fluent Spanish... you put me to shame. Love ya)

My boyfriend, well, ex anyway. Sssshhh, he doesn't know yet. ;-)
Love you Noah!

The most famous Missionary family I've ever photographed.
I love you guys.

Well, these photos provide a miniature glimpse into some of the things I've had the privilege of doing the last many years. It was truly a miracle of God that I was able to go to Bogota, as I was very ill prior to my departure. God helped and provided healing and a pleasurable time with friends. It's something I'll never forget... but also something I'll strive to do again some time in the future.

Check back - I'll add some of my portrait shots, wildlife from Costa Rica and more. Oh and please, if you stop by, leave a comment... who knows maybe we'll become good friends. Yeah? Well, I'll look for you then!

p.s. I've officially postponed my studies way tooooo long, guess what I'll be doing
late tonight, too early tomorrow morning, during lunch and while I'm driving?!
Guess it's worked so far... I'm still graduating with a 4.0! Yikes!

Sure... why not!

Well, blogging seems the 'thing' to do these days so I finally gave in to the pressure. I guess we'll see how this works out. It is an extremely busy time in my life, and for those of you who know me... you're probably not surprised! I guess you're right... my life has pretty much always been busy. Or at least since I was 11 years old. Awe yes, memories! I'll never forget saving $40 dollars at 11 to buy my very own - day planner. Oh, I was so excited!! Strange, I know... but the terrible thing is - I still get excited about purchasing my annual day planner. Ok, so maybe I need to get out more.

Right now I am:

- Completing my Masters through Northern Arizona University

- Finishing up my Practicum and making preparations to 'Walk' at my Graduation
- I am working- of course!

- I am helping to raise my 2 boys! (Schafer and Jake)
- and the list goes on... and on.. and on!

(Jake is my graduation gift from Bryan - he was a rescue and he is the sweetest little guy you'll ever meet)

Signing off for now... but stay-tuned... it may be worth checking back!

No promises. =)
